Yue Sheng (b.1999, China) is a visual artist currently based in London. Her practice focuses on finding the neglected in daily onrushing urban experiences, then translating personal narratives into photographs, texts, moving images, and installations. By exploring urban landscapes and nature, she invites viewers to share the memories that take place in these spaces.

Via is a walking practice about adventure and reflection. Numerous “lines of flight” outside London’s urban area make up over 100km of this walking path. This ongoing project uses photography and writing, as a mode of presentation for autoethnography, to examine the urban dweller's desire for wildness and unexplored futures.
