Olilia Siu is a Hong Kong photographer, now based in London. With a Visual Arts and Photography background, Olilia Siu focuses on the aesthetics and social issues in her works. Through portraits and cityscapes, she explores the cities’ lights and shadows.

 

In the project The Family Album, Olilia Siu took on the responsibility of continuing the family album after 3 generations. As one of the many Hong Kong new-comers in London, she documents the changes in the family. The project shows the life of Hong Kong families in first person perspective. Recording the separation and the start of new life, she is making sense of the new identity, and finding a place where she belongs.
